Lasers Measure Plastic Pellets

Plastic Pellet silos are often in excess of 20-30m 
high, relatively narrow (3-4m), and show a steep
angle of repose. Consequently Ultrasonic devices 
struggle with False Echo's and the low Dielectrics 
cause a poor reflective surface for Radar.

The LM02 & SS50 Lasers are capable of up to 
40m distances with negligible beam spread & so 
are ideally suited to this application.
