AwiEco, single channel Biogas Analyser
Allison Engineering are the exclusive UK representative for Awite Gmbh. Awite are the market leader in Germany for Biogas and Bio-methane analysers with hundreds of successful installations. All systems utilise rugged, industrial housings and Touch-Screen displays. The AWI-Eco is a technically advanced, yet economical analyser for CH4 and CO2, with one measurement point and up to fifty measurements per day.
AwiFlex, multi channel Biogas Analyser
The AWI-Flex provides customised solutions for analysis of CH4, CO2, H2S, O2 and H2. Featuring numerous data acquisition options including Profibus comms, Ethernet connections and historical data logging. In addition, the AWI-Flex can accept flow rate data from the ST51 Thermal mass flow meter and combine this with percentage CH4 to provide real time information for total methane produced.
Automated Desulphurisation Control - Saves Money
The Awite AwiFlex series analyser provides Methane, H2S and Oxygen analysis as well as automated “real time” control of the desulphurisation process. This is achieved by controlling the Oxygen injection from dedicated blowers.
Biogas Flow Rate Measurement

Thermal gasification is becoming increasingly common and can treat a wide variety of organic waste materials with minimal atmospheric emissions. The result is a mixture of hydrogen & carbon monoxide. The Hydrogen can then be used for electricity generation or fuel cells.
The ST50 thermal mass flow meter is an ideal, low cost solution, to the problem of balancing air flow within activated sludge basins. We have hundreds of successful installations in the UK waste water industry.
Level Measurement: Gas Holder Membrane, Biomass, Positioning
The Model LM80 is a highly accurate yet simple to set-up, continuous level measurement transmitter. Using non-contact laser technology, the LM80 is unaffected by false echoes and beam-spread (associated with ultrasonic devices), making it idea for the more problematic level applications.
Oil & Acid Spray-Out Protection
Oil, acids and other chemicals being used or stored, can present a safety risk to any site. Pipe joint connections such as flanges, valves and couplings are the weak-point and Safety Shields are considered a control measure to avoid spray-outs and oil mist, which might otherwise result in fire or explosion.
